This process to obtain the mine and seam/seams opening permission typically involves the following stages:

  • Application must upload along the requisite statuary clearances on the single window clearance system.
  • Concerned Regional office inspect the mine and submit their observation and recommendation.
  • The committee at HQ will discuss the above matter and submit their observations.

Based on the recommendations and observations from the concerned regional office and committee file will be processed on SWCS and permission for approval will be given and uploaded to SWCS.
